  name: bedtime stories (originally known as "bedtime stories the band") formed: 2022 genre: emo/post hardcore status: innactive (on hiatus since 2024) socials/streaming: bandcamp , instagram , spotify , tiktok , youtube bedtime stories were an emo band from waco, texas. they're currently (as of writing this) finishing up an album to release soon, which i am very excited for! their sound has elements from noise rock, hardcore punk, post hardcore and screamo, but they still manage to pack in that classic "emo" sound. the band has 3 members, ethan on lead vox and guitar, isaac on bass and backup vox, and carter on drums and backup vox. their debut single "bedframe" has been taken off of streaming completely, (for pretty obvious reaons) and was hell to find a rip of, but i (with the help of my online besties) did it! me and a few friends actually run a fan discord server for this band, so if you end up liking the music and wanna talk abt it u can join her...

  name: badtz-maru (sometimes stylized as "badtzmaru")  formed: 2020/2021(?) genre: emotional hardcore/bedroom skramz status: active socials/streaming: instagram , bandcamp , spotify badtz-maru is an emotional hardcore band from the green bay/milwaukee area, and one of my personal favorites in the genre. they don't have much of a discog, two singles, a split, an ep, and one bootleg but all of it is really great lo-fi screamo. afaik all of it was recorded on tape. their sound is super recognizable with their signature tape fuzz and muted screeched vocals, really great stuff. not much is known about them either, (especially as someone not from green bay) they're not very active on social media and the only content of them on youtube is just two live sets.(and the leak) they were also the band that got me into screamo, so thanks badtz-maru!
